REUNION - "Seven Decades Of Healing"
October 31-November 2, 2010

The weekend was filled with festivities and fellow Ricers celebrating 70+ years of the Rice Diet Program! The fun began Friday night with a book signing with Kitty Rosati along with a concert sharing the traditional Irish music from Little Windows that complements the book. Saturday's most anticipated event was a panel discussion, The Assault Upon Salt, with an original DASH diet researcher and our doctors Neelon and Rosati.

Of course, Dr. Rosati's cooking class was a must-see on Saturday as well! The dishes he prepared were seasonal, using locally grown butternut squash and pumpkin. Both recipes are simple and relatively quick - try them at home.

Sunday we heard testimonies from four successful Ricers, all of whom imparted pearls of wisdom and inspiration to the audience. Sunday's tour of the only Demeter Certified Biodynamic farm in North Carolina with Rob Bowers was the favorite field trip. The Halloween party concluded the weekend's events; you'll be mesmerized by the pictures - click here to see!
